Allotment of Industrial Plots/Sheds

The Authority offers developed industrial plots/sheds with infrastructural facilities like road, electricity and water on lease basis.

The cost of land/shed is payable in installments. The delivery of possession is given on payment of initial amount and execution of agreement bond. In case of SSI units cost of land is subsidized by the State Government.

How to Apply

Entrepreneurs interested in allotment of plots/shed for setting up an industry in industrial areas/estates under RIADA should submit -

1. Application for allotment of land/shed in prescribed application forms in two copies.
2. Project Report in three copies.
3. Lay out plan showing the proposed utilization of the area applied for in two copies.
4. Other documents as mentioned in the instruction sheet attached with pro-forma.
5. A Bank Draft/Cash against application fee as mentioned in the application form depending upon the cost of the project.

The Bank Draft should be payable to: RANCHI INDUSTRIAL AREA DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY at Ranchi or money may be deposited in cash in the RIADA office.

Note: SC/ST applicants are not required to pay application fees.

Project Clearance Committee

A Project Clearance committee consisting of officers of RIADA, SISI, BSFC, Banks, HEC, CCL, Pollution Control Board and District Industries Centre functions in RIADA. This committee considers all applications for allotment of land/shed/ MIP Rooms, as well as SSI Registration and change of schemes etc. The committee meets every month to clear cases of applicants for the above. An entrepreneur has to submit a Project Report in prescribed pro-forma available in the office.
